Community Supported Agriculture

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a popular way for consumers to buy local, seasonal food directly from farmers in their area.  Here are the basics: a farmer offers a certain number of “shares” to the public. Typically the share consists of a box of vegetables, but other farm products may be included. Interested consumers purchase a share and receive a box of seasonal produce each week throughout the farming season. To read more about CSAs, go to http://www.localharvest.org/csa/

Earthwise Gardens CSA is a weekly service providing members with farm-fresh, Texas-grown, organic produce every week, throughout the year.  The produce is sourced from several local farms including our own garden in Denton, which enables us to offer the best variety of items for our customers year round. 

The weekly share is approximately 7-9 seasonal produce items.  Monthly subscriptions for pick up at our shop in Denton are $100/month.  All CSA members get a 10% discount on all produce items in our shop.  In addition, we offer the following discounts for those who would like to make a longer commitment:

–3 months $290

–6 months $560

–Full year $1100

Our CSA shares are also available for home delivery in Dallas to those who can’t make it up to Denton.  This service is offered in partnership with Artizone.com

*When you sign-up for the Recurring Monthly Membership Option, your account will automatically be charged each month for your CSA subscription. You may cancel your membership at any time by logging into your Paypal account.

*You may purchase several months in advance for a discounted rate! Pay-in-advance options, however, do not recur.

Our distribution point is at 728 N. Elm Street on Thursdays from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday mornings from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm.  Hope to see you there soon!
